That’s a wrap
Allow to me to rave a bit about a great little wall decor find I stumbled upon a few months ago.
I had heard and seen all these posts on blogs about creating your own artwork by framing wrapping paper, wallpaper, and scrapbook paper. I thought it sounded like a perfect solution to my wall decor problem so I was really excited about finding the perfect printed paper. I am also incredibly fickle when it comes to artwork and so I figured that if I just invested in nice frames I could afford to buy lots of different papers to switch out whenever I needed a change. Yipes stripes
Whether vertical or horizontal, wide or narrow, painted, decaled or wallpapered, I love stripes on walls.
I have been contemplating stripes in several different areas of my apartment but especially in the hallway. We have a long narrow hallway so I can’t fit any furniture and because the doors to the laundry room and hall closet are on half of the hallway I don’t really want to hang any nice artwork, for fear of breakage while I’m folding clothes or rearranging the coat closet. I am particularly drawn to bold, horizontal stripes but there is also something soothing about a light, barely there, wall stripe. Ah, decisions decisions.
