If you’ve read any of my blog, you’ll know I love all things silver and gray. Of course my love doesn’t just stop at picture frames and accessories, if I could paint my home silver I would, so it probably will come as no surprise that I figured out a way to cover one wall in a whole lot of shiny silvery goodness.
I suppose I started collecting silver platters and trays when I started making little bathroom tablescapes. I bought my first one at Goodwill and used to hold soaps and clear canisters for cotton balls and things. I have been talking about doing a gallery wall in my living room for FOREVER. I have been collecting frames and organizing photos and art for what seems like an eternity. I have also been keeping gallery wall ideas on my Pinterest page so I would EVENTUALLY be inspired to actually hang something on my bare walls. Lucky for you, the day my gallery wall is complete has finally come. I’ll do a play by play so you can do your own gallery wall, if you’re so inclined.

I like to make art for my apartment. Now that’s not to say I won’t buy art if I see something that tickles my fancy but I think there is a certain amount of pride that comes along with knowing you created something to hang on your walls. I like feeling like female Salvador Dali (minus the mustache and a little of the crazy) from time to time.
