This past weekend I hosted my first ever bridal shower for one of my besties who will be a Mrs. in just over a month! I must admit, the bride-to-be and I are a bit nontraditional which is why I held it at a karaoke bar. We had our own private room and we all sang until we were hoarse (well maybe that was just me). So after months of scouring craigslist, goodwill and target for a bar I finally found one!
Let me give you some back story about this bar. I wanted to have something in the dining area for mixing drinks. I am a huge fan of Mad Men, I even plan on having another Mad Men theme party when the new season starts (whenever that might be) so of course I love the idea of a home bar. Anyways, I looked and looked for an actual bar cart but they were so expensive! I mean $300 for essentially a novelty home item, are you kidding? That was absolutely not going to happen. So one day I was in Target, wondering around in the bath section and noticed the bathroom carts.
