Isn’t that what they always say on MTV Cribs when they show off the bedroom — “This is where the magic happens.” Well consider this post my personal episode of Cribs and this is where MY magic happens… and of course by magic, I mean where I do my best reading and sleeping!
I have gotten a lot of feedback about choosing the right gray for the bedroom and even more questions from people asking to see the finished product. While I’m not really done decorating the bedroom (I still need lamps, among other things) the painting and stenciling is done so without further ado I give you my bedroom:
Isn’t it lovely?
I need bigger lamps.

It took a long time to stencil that one wall. I just left the other walls solid gray. Was it worth it? Totally. I love it and it was a pain but I would do it again!

The stencil is amazing, I thought it was wallpaper. Great job!
Courtney,
It turned out very nice!!!!
Jeanette
Thanks
it’s absolutely amazing!
Beautiful, absolutely worth it!!!!
Thanks for posting the pictures
Thank you so much!
I’m planning a gray bedroom – would you mind sharing the paint color you ended up using? The stencil is lovely
Thank you so much! The color I used is called Cathedral Stone and it’s by Valspar (Lowe’s Home Improvement Brand) and it looks almost identical to Martha Stewart’s Cement Gray. Good luck with your new gray bedroom!
I am in awe of your stenciled wall, and the grey you chose is utterly perfect!
Thank you so much! It took a while to get there but it was worth it.
