For those who don’t know, the big I <3 Thrifting event is happening this weekend all across the country and I am super stoked! I am hosting one in Raleigh and I can’t wait. If you are planning to go to the Raleigh event please let me know by sending an e-mail to courtney@thejoyofdecorating.com. I am trying to get some goodies together for the attendees so I want to get a head count.
So until the big thrifting day, I have been looking around my house to get an idea of what I need to shop for.
First order of business? A table for my record player!
I don’t know why this has been so difficult to find for me, but it has. I would looove to paint this with high gloss black paint or re-stain it a really dark espresso.
The next item on my wish list is something for the boyfriend’s man cave. I would love to find a cool sideboard/buffet type piece to take the place of his ugly dresser and TV stand combo. He did tell me I could do whatever I wanted with the apartment as far a decorating, hopefully this goes for the man cave too.
I can see something like this in the old world themed man cave.
And lastly, I would love to get some cool old frames. My dream is to find something super ornate like this, but I have a feeling I’m not ever going to be that lucky.
